Lampedusa, new wave of landings

New wave of arrivals in Lampedusa, where 524 migrants arrived in a few hours. The first maxi landing brought 325 people on the largest of the Pelagias, the second boat was escorted shortly after to the Favaloro pier: on board 85 migrants, including a newborn girl. Two other boats were also intercepted in the early hours of the morning with 98 and 16 migrants on board. All, after an initial health triage, were taken to the hotspot in the Imbriacola district. At the moment there are no quarantine ships on Lampedusa, the Allegra has left the island in recent days with 446 migrants on board.
