Covid today Piedmont, 11,501 infections: December 31st bulletin

There are 11,501 coronavirus infections in Piedmont today, 31 December 2021, according to numbers and covid data from the region’s bulletin. 13 more deaths recorded. The new cases (of which 9,313 after antigenic tests) are equal to 11.2% of 103,074 swabs performed, of which 88,426 antigenic. The asymptomatic are 7,963 (69.2%). There are 1,223 hospitalized in non-critical areas (+47 compared to yesterday). There are 107 hospitalized in intensive care (+5 compared to yesterday). There are 71,488 people in home isolation. The diagnostic swabs processed so far are 11,771,621 (+103,074 compared to yesterday), of which 2,738,673 were negative. 13 deaths of people positive for the Covid-19 test, one of today, reported by the Crisis Unit of the Piemonte region. The total then becomes 12,050 deaths who tested positive for the virus.
