Covid today Sicily, 2,819 infections and 28 deaths: December 28 bulletin

There are 2,819 new coronavirus infections today 28 December 2021 in Sicily, according to data and numbers from the latest Covid-19 bulletin of the Region. There are another 28 deaths. On the other hand, 512 patients have been discharged or recovered. There are a total of 32,143 positives on the island – 2,279 more than yesterday – and of these 685 are hospitalized in the ordinary regime, 88 in intensive care with nine new entries and 31,370 are in home isolation. The most affected province is Catania, with 659 cases, followed by Messina (469) and Palermo (445).
