Super green pass, from gyms to bars: what it is and where it is needed, rules

Super green pass increasingly necessary in Italy after the restrictions set by the Christmas Decree. From gyms to bars and restaurants, cinemas, theaters, stadiums. The list of places where the green certification issued only to those who are vaccinated or cured – the reinforced green pass – is essential is getting longer. With the surge in infections, due to the spread of the Omicron variant, a new squeeze has come from the government. Strengthened green pass, what is it By strengthened green pass we mean the Green Certification certifying the successful vaccination against Sars-Cov-2 or the recovery from the Covid-19 infection. Therefore, it does not include carrying out a rapid or molecular antigen test. Even in cases where the enhanced Green pass is required, exemptions apply for children under 12 and for those with appropriate medical certification. Super green pass, where it is required The Super green pass is required in the white, yellow and orange areas to access activities and services. Until March 31, 2022 (end of the state of emergency) the use of the enhanced certification is also extended to counter catering in indoor venues. Super green pass, what changes from 10 January 2022 Starting from 10 January 2022 and until 31 March 2022, it is also extended to the following activities: – indoors for swimming pools, gyms and team sports; – museums and exhibitions (to date, access to these places is allowed with the basic Green Pass in the white and yellow zone); – indoors for wellness centers; spas (except for essential levels of assistance and rehabilitation or therapeutic activities); – theme and amusement parks; – indoors for cultural centers, social and recreational centers (excluding educational centers for children); – game rooms, betting rooms, bingo halls and casinos. From 30 December 2021 to 31 March 2022 visitors will be able to access the residential facilities, socio-welfare, social-health and hospice only with a reinforced Green pass and rapid or molecular antigen test performed in the 48 hours prior to access, with negative results, or vaccination with a third dose. Masks The obligation to wear a mask even outdoors in all bands (white, yellow, orange areas) is in force until January 31, 2022. But until the end of the state of emergency, March 31, 2022, it is necessary to use the Ffp2 to shows open to the public that take place outdoors and indoors in theaters, concert halls, cinemas, entertainment venues and live music (and other similar venues), in the case of sporting events and competitions that take place indoors or outdoors; on all means of long-distance transport, airplanes, ships, trains; on all means of public transport, buses, trams, subways.
