Net increase, in 7 days, of new infections from Covid 19 and deaths. Hospitalizations and intensive care are also growing, as are currently positive cases and people in home isolation. This is what emerges from the weekly monitoring of the Gimbe Foundation in the period 15-21 December. In detail, compared to the previous week, 177,257 new infections were recorded (+ 42.3%); 882 deaths (+ 33% with an average of 126 per day compared to 95 in the previous week), of which 45 referred to previous periods; 149 admissions to intensive care (+ 17.3%); 1,218 hospitalized with symptoms (+ 17%); 85,383 people in home isolation (+ 29.5%) and 86,750 currently positive cases (+ 29.2%).
