Covid today Sicily, 228 infections and zero deaths: June 17 bulletin

There are 228 new coronavirus infections in Sicily according to today’s bulletin, June 17. No new deaths registered. The island is the second region of Italy for infections after Lombardy. On the other hand, 330 patients have been discharged or recovered and 5,901 – 102 fewer than yesterday – the total number of positives on the island. Of these 283 are hospitalized in the ordinary regime, 35 in intensive care and 5,583 are in home isolation.
