De Rienzo, actor death: Gambian pusher trial

The 32-year-old Gambian accused of having sold drugs to the actor Libero De Rienzo, who died on 15 July from an overdose of heroin in his home in the Madonna del Riposo area, in the capital, was indicted by the GUP of Rome. The Public Prosecutor’s Office of Rome, with the prosecutor Francesco Minisci, last September closed the investigation into the actor’s death, contesting the accusations of death as a consequence of another crime, possession and transfer of drugs to the pusher. The trial was set for April 6 in front of the single judge.
