Covid today Lombardy, 6,119 infections and 24 deaths: December 18 bulletin

There are 6,119 coronavirus infections in Lombardy today, 18 December 2021, according to numbers and covid data from the region’s bulletin. Recorded 24 deaths. New cases were identified on 149,675 swabs carried out, the positivity rate rises to 4%. The total number of deaths has been 34,718 since the start of the pandemic. Intensive care patients are on the rise (154, +7) and in other wards (1,223, +30). The new infections concern all the Lombard provinces: there are 2,316 in Milan, 370 in Bergamo, 570 in Brescia, 299 in Como, 203 in Cremona, 121 in Lecco, 133 in Lodi, 186 in Mantua, 598 in Monza and Brianza, 286 in Pavia, 86 in Sondrio and 537 in Varese.
