Mottarone tragedy, the last seconds of the deadly race

Cabin number 3 is arriving at the Mottarone cable car station, but the breaking of the hauling cable causes the cabin to ‘go wild’ which almost rears up and then runs backwards until it crashes with the pylon a few hundred meters away. The images are taken by the video surveillance system of the plant and are part of the investigation file concerning the death of 14 people.
