Covid today Emilia, 1,973 infections and 14 deaths: December 12 bulletin

There are 1,973 new coronavirus infections registered in Emilia Romagna today, 12 December, according to data from the Region’s Covid bulletin. The new cases were detected on a total of 29,773 swabs performed in the last 24 hours. The percentage of new positives on the number of tampons made since yesterday is 6.6%. There are 14 deaths. The patients admitted to intensive care are 85 (-3), 946 those in the other covid departments (+18). Overall, among the new positives 536 were already in isolation at the time of the swab execution, 524 were identified within already known foci. The average age of new positives today is 39.4 years. The active cases, that is the actual patients, today are 32,265 (+1593).
