Covid today Abruzzo, 28 infections and 1 death: June 15th bulletin

There are 28 coronavirus infections in Abruzzo today, June 15, according to data from the region’s bulletin. As of yesterday, 1 death was registered. There are a total of 74,496 positive cases in the region since the beginning of the emergency. The total is lower as a case has been eliminated, communicated in recent days and found to be in charge of another Region. Compared to yesterday, there are 28 new cases (aged between 4 months and 72 years). The death toll of patients registers 1 new case and rises to 2503 (it is a 76 year old from the province of Pescara). The number of positive cases also includes 70,616 discharged / healed (+122 compared to yesterday). The currently positives in Abruzzo (calculated by subtracting the number of discharged / recovered and deceased from the total of positives) are 1377 (-96 compared to yesterday). Since the start of the Coronavirus emergency, a total of 1,154,300 molecular swabs have been performed (+2,971 compared to yesterday) and 481,353 antigen tests (+1,518 compared to yesterday). The positivity rate, calculated on the sum of molecular swabs and antigen tests of the day, is equal to 0.6 percent. 65 patients (-6 compared to yesterday) are hospitalized in non-intensive care; 4 (unchanged compared to yesterday with 0 new entries) in intensive care, while the other 1308 (-90 compared to yesterday) are in home isolation with active surveillance by the ASL. Of the total number of positive cases, 18891 are resident or domiciled in the province of L’Aquila (+9 compared to yesterday), 19378 in the province of Chieti (+3), 18167 in the province of Pescara (+1), 17336 in the province of Teramo ( +11), 595 outside the region (+1) and 129 (+2) for which provenance checks are underway.
