School strike, suspended lessons and demonstrations throughout Italy

Gates closed and lessons skipped today in many Italian schools due to the strike proclaimed by the basic confederal unions with the exception of the CISL school. The protest is against the policies of the Draghi government dedicated to the school sector: more funds are being asked for the renewal of the contract, the stabilization of temporary workers, more security for the complexes.
