The Pope is in Greece, the second leg of the journey

After leaving Cyprus, the Pope arrived in Greece, the second stage of his journey. Bergoglio arrived at Athens International Airport where he was greeted by the Minister of Foreign Affairs. Four children, including two in traditional dress, gave him a floral tribute. The welcome ceremony at the Presidential Palace in Athens. Upon his arrival, the Pontiff was welcomed by the President of the Hellenic Republic, Katerina Sakellaropoulou.
