“It is clear that on March 19, 2021, Dr. Giglio Evaristo determined the vaccination of Andrea Scanzi who was not entitled to participate. In fact, the provisions on the subject stressed the need to include in the reserve lists only those who belonged to the categories admitted to the vaccination”. It is a passage of the conclusions of the information from the Carabinieri of Arezzo carried out in the context of the procedure regarding the vaccination of Andrea Scanzi, which took place on 19 May 2021 at the Centro Affari e Fiere in Arezzo and which Adnkronos has read. On the matter, the Arezzo Public Prosecutor’s Office opened an investigation without suspects for which the filing was requested by the deputy prosecutor Marco Dioni. The hearing to oppose the request for filing is set for tomorrow, December 3, before the Gip of the court of Arezzo, Giulia Soldini. According to the reconstruction of the facts that emerges from the information provided by the Carabinieri, the area manager of the South East Tuscany Usl personally took care of ensuring Scanzi the first dose of the Astrazeneca vaccine, agreeing directly with him and managing the situation personally. In fact, the report reads: “Scanzi’s admission to the vaccination session was handled personally by Giglio, who had indicated the times and places to the journalist, taking care to move to the vaccination site in the late morning, to entrust the task of welcoming and management “to a nurse. Giglio, therefore, according to the carabinieri, organized the journalist’s vaccination session as early as the morning of March 19, 2021, despite the regulation providing for the evaluation of any advanced doses to be administered to the ‘reserve lists’ only at the end of the evening. “It is not then understandable – reads the information – how Giglio could be sure that the doses would be advanced that day at the vaccination hub in Arezzo, already at lunchtime”, considering that the nurse Scanzi contacted on his indication upon arrival at the vaccination hub “he would have started to assess the situation only at the end of the vaccination day.” According to the information, however, the day in which Scanzi was vaccinated there were no excess doses to be administered. “With reference to the delegated question – the document reads in fact – on March 19 there were no advanced doses, taking into account that the administration of the Astrazeneca vaccine allowed the use of doses contained in vials already started also the following day “. ‘it is not caregiver, disability documents referring to the mother of the same name. ‘In the information from the carabinieri read by Adnkronos, moreover, the carabinieri clarify that Scanzi “does not reside with his parents, who are self-employed icienti for the same admission as the person concerned “and therefore cannot be considered a caregiver, a requirement that was essential for the purposes of vaccination at the time it took place. “He does not assist them nor has either of them ever asked to be recognized as a seriously disabled person, pursuant to law 104/1992, art. 3 paragraph 3”, write the carabinieri, highlighting that “the documentation presented by the district director of the Usl , Dr. Giglio Evaristo, both in the context of the internal investigation of the Usl company, and in the examination at these offices, certifying the serious disability “of the mother of Andrea Scanzi, corresponds” to a homonymous one “.
