Weather alert in Campania, the notice has been extended for tomorrow by the Civil Protection. Orange level for the southern part of Campania and in particular on the areas: Sorrentino-Amalfi Peninsula and Salerno, Monti di Sarno and Monti Picentini, Tusciano and Alto Sele, Piana del Sele and Alto Cilento, Tanagro, Basso Cilento. In these areas, scattered to diffuse precipitation is expected, including backhand or isolated thunderstorms, moderate winds with possible gusts in thunderstorms. On the remaining part of Campania, the alert will be yellow and there may still be severe storms associated with gusts of wind and localized hydrogeological instability. An orange alert is currently in force until 11.59 pm tonight. Piana Campana, Naples, islands, Vesuvian area, Sorrento-Amalfi coast, Tusciano and Alto Sele, and a yellow alert on the rest of the region. The notice foresees scattered rainfall for the day tomorrow, also of a downpour or thunderstorm, on Campania, Basilicata, Calabria and Sicily, in particular on the Tyrrhenian sectors. Precipitation will be accompanied by heavy showers, local hailstorms, frequent electrical activity and strong gusts of wind. On the basis of the expected phenomena, an orange alert in Campania was assessed for tomorrow, December 3; yellow alert in Abruzzo, Campania, Molise, Basilicata, Puglia, Calabria and Sicily, and on sectors of Umbria and Lazio.
