Drugs, drug dealing square in Palermo destroyed: 12 arrests

Anti-drug operation in Palermo. The carabinieri of the Compagnia di Monreale, in the early hours of this morning, carried out a precautionary custody order against 12 people, under investigation, in competition with each other, for illicit production, trafficking and possession of drugs. Six ended up in prison, as many under house arrest. With the operation called ‘Carthago’ the carabinieri of Monreale managed to shed light on a thriving business of dealing in cocaine, crack, hashish and marijuana set up in the Passo di Rigano district.
