Euro 2020, Achille: the cat who guessed Italy’s victory

Italy beats Turkey in the debut match of Euro 2020 as the cat Achilles had predicted. The feline (deaf) oracle who lives in the Hermitage museum in St. Petersburg had predicted the success of the Azzurri a few hours after the match at the Olimpico in Rome. “The outcome of the match has been predicted, the Italians will win”, said the presenter at the end of the ceremony which took place in St. Petersburg. Two bowls of food are placed in front of Achilles, one with the flag of Turkey and the other of Italy. The cat has chosen. the feline first became famous during the Confederation Cup in 2017 and later in the World Cup in Russia in 2018, correctly predicting the winning team of all the first four games of the competition. Now it’s up to Euro 2020.
