Omicron variant, Zangrillo: “Irresponsible debate between experts on nothing”

Professor Alberto Zangrillo thus expresses himself, in a tweet, on the debate that has arisen in recent days on the Omicron variant. Zangrillo, Vice Rector of the Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in Milan and director of the Anesthesia and Intensive Care Department of the San Raffaele Hospital Irccs, has repeatedly highlighted the need for a competent and balanced approach to communication in recent times. “We can devote ourselves to other pathologies: at this moment we are concerned about the huge waiting lists of patients who have nothing to do with covid. Continuing to see the number of contagions daily as the first, second or third piece of news interests us very little”, he had said Zangrillo at the beginning of the month speaking at the Fourth Republic.
