Regiments (Fi): “Violence women, let us not abandon victims”

To protect women victims of violence, “much effort is still needed”, giving more “funds to shelters” and “support to those who are left alone”. The EU must make funds available for a “European help desk” to support women in all 27 member states. This was underlined by Forza Italia MEP Luisa Regimenti, in Strasbourg on the sidelines of the plenary of the European Parliament, on the world day against violence against women.
