Super green pass, what it is: all the new measures, since it came into force

Super green pass in Italy from 6 December also in the white area. What is it and how does it work? The enhanced certification, created to stem the fourth wave covid infections, as established by the decree passed by the Council of Ministers, is available to those who are vaccinated against covid or to those who have recovered from the coronavirus. It is not for those who test negative on a swab and have a duration of 9 months instead of 12. As Palazzo Chigi explains, the Super Green pass is used to access a range of activities – from shows to sporting events, to enter bars and restaurants indoors, participate in parties and enter discos – and it will also be essential in the white zone until January 15, 2022. In addition, the Green pass, also linked to a negative buffer, is extended to hotels, locker rooms for sports activities, regional and interregional trains, local public transport. Read also THE DECREE, THE NEW MEASURES The decree is developed in four areas: vaccination obligation and third dose; extension of the vaccination obligation to new categories; establishment of the reinforced Green Pass; strengthening of controls and promotional campaigns on vaccination. Vaccination obligation and third dose – The decree law provides for the extension of the vaccination obligation to the third dose starting from 15 December next and with the exclusion of the possibility of being used for different tasks. Obligation of new categories – In addition, the provision establishes the extension of the vaccination obligation to further categories starting from December 15, continues Palazzo Chigi. The new categories involved will be: health administrative staff, school teachers and administrative staff, military, police forces (including prison police), public aid personnel. Green pass and Super green pass duration – The text approved today provides that the duration of validity of the Green Pass is reduced from the current 12 to 9 months. The Green pass obligation is extended to other sectors: hotels; changing rooms for sports activities; regional and interregional rail transport services; local public transport services. Starting from December 6, 2021, the reinforced Green pass is introduced: it is valid only for those who are either vaccinated or cured. The new Green Certificate is used to access activities that would otherwise be subject to restrictions in the yellow zone in the following areas: Shows, Spectators of sporting events, Indoor catering, Parties and discos, Public ceremonies. In case of passage in the orange zone, the restrictions and limitations do not apply, but only the holders of the reinforced Green pass can access the activities. From 6 December 2021 and until 15 January 2022 it is envisaged that the reinforced Green pass for carrying out activities, which would otherwise be subject to restrictions in the yellow zone, must also be used in the white zone. part of the prefectures that must provide a provincial plan for carrying out constant checks within 5 days from the entry into force of the text and are obliged to draw up a weekly report to be sent to the Ministry of the Interior; strengthening of the communication campaign in favor of vaccination. The government has taken and intends to take other administrative decisions: – the third dose is already allowed 5 months after the second; – will immediately open the third dose for under 40s; – if authorized, vaccination campaigns can be launched for the age group 5-12, the government concludes. There are no news regarding the validity of the swabs. “The types and duration of tampons remain unchanged” in the new decree. The duration of the negative ‘response’ remains 72 hours for the molecular and 48 for the antigenic. even more incisive at the local level, where the incidence of the virus and the hospital situation require it. Local administrators should be put in a position to be able to decide even limited lockdowns at a territorial level. DRAGONS “Our situation is slightly but steadily worsening. We want to prevent in order to preserve: we want to be very prudent to avoid risks and to be able to keep that that the Italians have conquered “. Prime Minister Mario Draghi expresses himself in this way, on the covid epidemic in Italy, after the Council of Ministers which today launched the Super green pass, in force in Italy since 6 December. “We have resumed our social life and interactions, we have resumed being normal: we want to preserve this normality, this is the spirit of the measures”, he says. “The Italian situation today is under control, we are in one of the best situations in Europe thanks essentially to the vaccination campaign which was a remarkable success. I want to thank the Italians who joined the campaign and those who are joining the third dose, “says Draghi, who received the third dose:” I did it. ” there seemed to be differences in position before the CDM then disappeared during the CDM, in fact the decision was taken unanimously “, says Draghi referring to the launch of the Super green pass. “It is very important, in order to mend this contrast between those who get vaccinated and those who do not, that the government is compact, without giving up. The lack of compactness is then used as an excuse for evasion from the obligation, for the opposition, for the tension. We must not underestimate or criminalize the diversity of views and behaviors, we must try to convince. For this reconciliation to happen is the success of this initiative. Do you remember last year’s Christmas? ‘was it before the pandemic? “, asks Draghi. HOPE” Let’s take another step forward: it is extended to hotels, inter-regional rail transport and local public transport. It is also extended to the changing rooms of all sports activities. up to now it lasted 12 months, the Technical Scientific Committee has indicated the suitable duration in 9 months on the basis of the holding capacity of the vaccine. The intervention built in the decree has to do with the so-called reinforced green pass “, the words of the Minister of Health, Roberto Speranza, to illustrate the decree.” We believe that in this phase of the epidemic, for the period between 6 December and January 15th the reinforced green pass is introduced: the green certificate can only be obtained in the event of vaccination or recovery. When a choice of this type is made, there is a very positive element that I would like to emphasize. In case of a color change of the region “from the white zone to the yellow, orange or red zone” we would avoid restrictions for vaccinated people. The strengthening of the green pass serves to avoid closures and capacity reductions “, he continues.
