Covid today Abruzzo, 115 infections and one death: November 23 bulletin

115 (between the ages of 3 and 89) are the new coronavirus infections registered in Abruzzo today, November 23, according to data from the Region’s Covid bulletin. The new cases bring the total from the beginning of the emergency to 86281. The death toll records 1 new death and rises to 2579 (it is a 73 year old from the province of Pescara). 91 patients (unchanged compared to yesterday) hospitalized in the medical area; 9 (+1 compared to yesterday) in intensive care, while the other 3552 (-68 compared to yesterday) are in home isolation with active surveillance by the ASL. In the last 24 hours, 2846 molecular swabs were performed (1556344 in total since the start of the emergency) and 13229 antigen tests (1270936). The positivity rate, calculated on the sum of molecular swabs and antigen tests of the day, is equal to 0.71 percent. The number of positive cases also includes 80050 discharged / healed (+181 compared to yesterday). The currently positives in Abruzzo (calculated by subtracting the number of discharged / recovered and deceased from the total of positives) are 3652 (-67 compared to yesterday). The total also includes 558 cases concerning patients lost to follow-up since the beginning of the emergency, on which checks are underway. Of the total number of positive cases, 22160 are resident or domiciled in the province of L’Aquila (+25 compared to yesterday), 21654 in the province of Chieti (+45), 20475 in the province of Pescara (+24), 21160 in the province of Teramo ( +20), 700 outside the region (unchanged) and 132 (+1) for which provenance checks are underway.
