Covid Italy, hospitalizations are increasing in 8 Regions: intensive care is also increasing in 6

With the increase in Covid infections in Italy, there are 8 Regions where the occupancy of beds in the medical area is growing and 6 are those where patients in intensive care are increasing. This is highlighted by the latest update of the Agenas monitoring data. As regards the number of beds in the medical area, the increase concerns Calabria (7%), Marche (10%), Puglia (4%), Piedmont (5%), Tuscany (8%), Umbria (7%), Sardinia (6%) and Bolzano (9%). Friuli Venezia Giulia has over-threshold levels, equal to 15% for resuscitation and 17% for medical areas, but both of these data have been stable for a few days: the first from November 20, the second from November 21. In another 6, the percentage of patients admitted to intensive care increased: Basilicata (2%), Lombardy (11%), Veneto (6%), Piedmont (6%), Sicily (10%) and Trento (at 10%). As for the data at the national level, according to the National Agency for Regional Health Services (Agenas), Covid patients occupy 6% of intensive care and 8% of posts in the ward. These values ​​are both below the limit threshold, at 10% and 15% respectively.
