Covid today Fvg, 660 infections and 4 deaths: November 20 bulletin

There are 660 new coronavirus infections today 20 November in Friuli Venezia Giulia, according to data from the latest covid-19 bulletin. There are 4 more deaths. On 8,190 molecular swabs, 586 new cases were detected with a positivity rate of 7.16%. Furthermore, 17,801 rapid antigenic tests have been carried out, from which 74 cases (0.42%) were detected. Among the 4 deaths there are a 90-year-old woman from Muggia who died in a residence for the elderly, an 86-year-old man from Spilimbergo who died in a residence for the elderly, a 75-year-old man from Brugnera who died in hospital and, finally, a man 72-year-old from Trieste who died in hospital. There are 26 people hospitalized in intensive care, while there are 206 patients in other departments. This was announced by the deputy governor of the Region with responsibility for Health Riccardo Riccardi. The total deaths amounted to 3,926. Since the beginning of the pandemic in Friuli Venezia Giulia, a total of 125,544 people have been positive. With regard to cases registered within the regional health service: three therapists, two nurses, a doctor, a social health worker and a technician were positive in the Giuliano Isontina university health service; three nurses, a doctor and two socio-health workers in the Friuli Centrale university health authority; an administrative and a technician to the Western Friuli health authority. Finally, as regards residences for the elderly, 8 cases were detected among the operators (San Giorgio di Nogaro, Muggia, Duino Aurisina, Gorizia and Rivignano Teor) and 6 among the guests (Trieste and Zoppola).
