Meritocrazia Italia, round table on “Water, the thirst of our time”

During the National Direction of the Italian Meritocracy Association, today and tomorrow in the headquarters of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Handicraft and Agriculture of Verona, a round table was promoted on the theme: “Water, the thirst of our time”. The debate, moderated by the Rai journalist Attilio Romita, will open with the institutional greetings of the coordinator of Meritocracy of the Veneto Region Arnaldo Sciarretta, of the deputy minister of Meritocracy for Innovation and Development Marta Bellini, of the chairman of Meritocracy Alessia Fachechi, as well as the Minister for Disabilities of the Italian Republic Erika Stefani and the Mayor of Verona Federico Sboarina. The discussion will continue with the intervention of exponents of the Meritocracy Association: the Minister of Meritocracy for Innovation and Development Raffaella Pergamo, the Minister of Meritocracy for Labor and Social Inclusion Policies Giuliana Albarella and the area director of Meritocracy Banks and Financial Relations Alessandra Magnabosco. Also present were representatives of the political and university world such as Lorenzo Migliorati, Associate Professor of Sociology of Cultural and Communicative Processes at the University of Verona, Manolita Francesca, Full Professor of Private Law at the University of Foggia, Lauro Sabaini, Mayor of Bardolino, Antonio Foglio, Professor of Marketing, Angelo Cresco, President of Ags – Azienda Gardesana Servizi Spa, Alessia Rotta, President of the VIII Commission for the Environment, Territory, Public Works of the Chamber of Deputies and Gianfranco Pederzolli, National President Federbim. The conclusions will be entrusted to the National President of Meritocracy Italy, Walter Mauriello, who has repeatedly declared the need for a conscious and responsible use of water resources that starts from good family practices and invests local authorities with greater responsibility: “Preserving the water resource and making it accessible to all is a principle indispensable. This means not wasting it, not polluting it and, if possible, reusing it. Today billions of people live in shortage of water, and where this is available, it is often not usable because it is polluted or because it is wasted. The situation is aggravated by infrastructural delays: old networks, major water leaks, absent or non-compliant purifiers, scarce investments “.
