Covid, Burioni: “There is no effective drug in home care”

“There is no drug proven effective in the home therapy of Covid-19. Instead, there are drugs (one for all: cortisone) that have been shown to be harmful if used in the early stage of the disease. Those who claim different things have a duty to try them” . Virologist Roberto Burioni, professor of the Vita-Salute San Raffaele University of Milan, writes on Twitter. The virologist in a previous tweet had also recalled that “aspirin is ineffective against Covid-19” and home therapies “are a dangerous lie, perhaps very profitable for some”.
