Car seat badly fixed, child died in accident: parents investigated

The two parents of the two-year-old child, who died following an accident on the outskirts of Rimini in March 2019, risk ending up on trial. The two, according to Corriere Romagna, have been entered in the register of suspects. According to the accusations contained in the notice of conclusion of the investigation notified by the Public Prosecutor’s Office, they would not have correctly attached the child’s seat. According to the reconstruction of the investigators, the fault of the accident does not lie with the parents of the child, but with the driver of the other car, who was traveling at high speed. But in trouble – the hypothesis is that of road homicide – the two parents are also likely to end up following the investigations of the Rimini Public Prosecutor’s Office. The child was transported to hospital by helicopter and died three days later from serious injuries sustained in the crash.
