Shoot the boar but hit another hunter

Wild boar hunting risks ending in tragedy. A hunter shoots but hits a ‘colleague’, who is seriously injured. It happened on the hills of Monferrato, in Piedmont, as reported by Sky Tg24. The two hunters, aged 67 and 70, were engaged in a hunt with other people. They both spotted a wild boar and found themselves on opposite sides of the animal. One of the two hunters shot, missed his prey and hit his partner at the ankle: the injured man lost a lot of blood and was transported by helicopter rescue to the hospital in Alexandria. The carabinieri of Acqui Terme intervened on the spot and confiscated the weapon used.
