A chain collision between 19 vehicles on the Pontina, 7 injured

Maxi chain collision in Via Pontina, in Rome. The accident, at km17,900, which involved 19 vehicles, occurred around midnight and a half. Several patrols of the Local Police of Roma Capitale went to the scene, with the Gpit groups (Traffic Emergency Group) and IX Eur Group. 7 people were injured in the chain collision, none of whom are currently in serious condition, transported to hospital for appropriate medical treatment. The agents remained busy for hours for the checks necessary to reconstruct what happened and detect the damage on the vehicles involved, as well as to restore regular vehicular transit.
