Fisco, prosecutor Rome asks for a 4-year sentence for Gigi D’Alessio

A four-year sentence was requested by the Rome prosecutor for the singer Gigi D’Alessio as part of the trial before the single judge for tax offenses. During the indictment, the prosecutor also asked for two years for the other four defendants. On the other hand, in relation to two of the four counts of indictment, it was requested not to have to proceed due to a statute of limitations. The trial stems from an investigation by the Capitoline prosecutors for an alleged tax evasion of about 1.7 million euros between IRES and unpaid VAT. Together with D’Alessio, four other people are on trial, a partner and three legal representatives who took turns in Ggd Productions srl, a company attributable to the singer. The accusations for facts dating back to 2010 are of concealment of the accounting records. The sentence is expected in the next hearing scheduled for November 9th.
