Vatican, a female secretary general of the Governorate

The Pope has appointed a female secretary general of the Governorate of the Vatican City State. It is Sister Raffaella Petrini, hitherto Official of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples. Sister Petrini was born in Rome on January 15, 1969. She obtained a degree in Political Science from the Free International University of Guido Carli and a doctorate from the Pontifical University of San Tommaso d’Aquino, where she is currently a lecturer. From 2005 until now she has been an Official of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples. Bergoglio, according to the Vatican, has appointed the lawyer Giuseppe Puglisi-Alibrandi, head of the Juridical Office of the Governorate of the Vatican City State, Deputy Secretary General of the Governorate. Puglisi-Alibrandi was born in Rome on 23 October 1966. He graduated in Law from the University of Rome La Sapienza. Since 2014 he has been an Official of the Governorate where, since 2017, he has been Head of the Legal Office, Civil Status, Registry and Notaries.
