Consult: e-cost is born, the new portal for telematic process

“I am particularly satisfied with the conclusion of a reform initiated by my predecessors, Giorgio Lattanzi and Marta Cartabia, which takes an important step forward for Italian justice”. With these words, the President of the Constitutional Court, Giancarlo Coraggio, commented on the publication, in today’s Official Journal, of the new supplementary rules for judgments before the Constitutional Court, which will come into force on 3 December and will apply to the judgments based on that date. This is a historic passage: with the new Norms, in fact, the constitutional judgment abandons the old “paper model” and passes to the total digitization of the procedural documents. The e-Cost platform (accessible, starting from 3 December, at the address https://ecost.cortecostituzionale.it) will allow the protagonists of the judgments of constitutionality – lawyers, State Attorneys, judges, Regions and all subjects who any title can bring judgments, constitute themselves or intervene before the Constitutional Court – to deposit and exchange documents and documents electronically. the technical rules for the functioning of the telematic constitutional process.
