Rome, overwhelmed and killed by a pirate van: a stop

A 46-year-old Roman was detained by the carabinieri of the Anzio company because they were considered the driver of the van that, on 26 October last in Tor San Lorenzo (Rome), overwhelmed a 58-year-old Tunisian, leaving him on the ground without rescuing him. The victim died yesterday at the San Camillo hospital in Rome. The 46-year-old is accused of road murder and wrongful death. The carabinieri traced back to the 46-year-old thanks to the analysis of the videos of the public and private video surveillance cameras, present near the point where the Tunisian was hit, to the collection of statements and testimonies. They managed to identify it and locate it in the area of ​​Viale di Colle Romito, in Tor San Lorenzo. The 46-year-old, when he was stopped by the carabinieri, immediately admitted his responsibilities.
