They position themselves next to the big names of the planet – Joe Biden, Ursula Von der Leyen, Angela Merkel, Boris Johnson among others – smiling, now that the worst seems to be behind us. Smiles of satisfaction and heartfelt applause from the leaders, visibly pleased with the news. The delegation of doctors and nurses arrives from the Capitoline hospital Lazzaro Spallanzani – the Italian nerve center in the fight against Covid – and from the Red Cross Vaccini presidium in Fiumicino, the vaccination hub visited by Prime Minister Mario Draghi last March.
