Bad weather, supermarkets in Catania stormed: “Like in the days of the lockdown”

In the areas of Sicily affected by bad weather it seems to have returned to the days of the lockdown, people go out only to do the shopping and then immediately return home, as told to Adnkronos Daniele, employee of the Despar supermarket located in Pedara, in the province of Catania: “Our shelves, as well as those of other supermarkets, have been literally emptied. The carts are full, people bought everything this morning to stock up on and barricaded themselves at home in the afternoon.”
