An ‘orange sticker’ at the restaurant, to ensure that people with allergies or food intolerances are safe at the table. This is the ‘Per Federica’ project of the Italian Society of Allergy, Asthma and Clinical Immunology (Siaaic), in partnership with Eni. Starting from January 2022, Siaaic experts will hold free online training courses dedicated to catering professionals, which in 4 hours will teach how to prepare food safely for allergy sufferers, how to recognize the signs of an allergic reaction, how to intervene in case of anaphylactic shock. In Italy 40 people lose their lives every year due to allergic reactions to a food.
