There are 232 new coronavirus infections today 3 June in Emilia Romagna, according to data from the latest bulletin. There are another 3 deaths. Since the start of the Coronavirus epidemic in the region, there have been 384,365 positive cases. Infections in the last 24 hours emerged from a total of 7,156 swabs performed. The percentage of new positives on the number of swabs made since yesterday is 3.2%, not indicative of the real trend because it is compared to the lower number of swabs made on holidays. Meanwhile, the anti-Covid vaccination campaign continues: at 4 pm a total of 2,745,776 doses were administered; out of the total, over one million (1,010,944) are second doses, ie people who have completed the vaccination cycle. The contagion situation in the provinces sees Bologna with 39 new cases, followed by Parma and Ravenna with 27 cases. Then Cesena (25), Forlì (24), Modena and Rimini (both with 21 cases) and Reggio Emilia (19); then Ferrara (13), Piacenza (12) and finally the Imola district (4). These are the data – ascertained at 12 today on the basis of institutional requests – relating to the progress of the epidemic in the region. In the last 24 hours, 4,098 molecular swabs were performed, for a total of 4,794,083. In addition to these are 3,058 quick swabs. As for the total number of people healed, there are 879 more than yesterday and they reach 357,984. There are 13,188 active cases, that is the actual patients, to date (-650 compared to yesterday). Of these, people in isolation at home, that is, those with mild symptoms that do not require hospital treatment or are symptom-free, total 12,627 (-634), 95.7% of the total number of active cases. Three new deaths: 1 in the province of Reggio Emilia (a 90-year-old woman); 1 in the province of Bologna (a 72-year-old man); and 1 in the Ferrara area (an 86-year-old man). No deaths in the provinces of Piacenza, Parma, Modena, Ravenna, Forlì-Cesena and Rimini. In total, there have been 13,193 deaths in the region since the beginning of the epidemic. There are 88 patients admitted to intensive care (-1 compared to yesterday), 473 those in the other Covid departments (-15).
