Smallpox monkeys, cases in Italy rise to 773

There are 13 more than in the previous survey of 30 August. The Region with the highest number of cases, 326, is Lombardy, followed by Lazio with 139 The number of confirmed monkeypox cases in Italy is on the increase, reaching 773, or 13 cases more than in the previous survey of 30 August. This is indicated by the surveillance system of the Ministry of Health with Regions and Autonomous Provinces in the bulletin updated to date. Out of the total number of cases, there are 211 infections linked to travel abroad, the average age is 37 years and 762 males are infected, 11 women. The Region with the highest number of cases, 326, is Lombardy, followed by Lazio with 139, Emilia Romagna with 77, Veneto with 55 and Tuscany with 39.
