The number of doctors who died in Italy during the Covid-19 pandemic has risen to 359. Ziad Zawaideh, general practitioner, retired but still working as a cardiologist, is the latest victim in the ‘fallen list’ updated by the National Federation of Medical Surgeons and Dentists (Fnomceo).
