There are 21,042 new coronavirus infections in Italy according to the bulletin of the Ministry of Health and Civil Protection today, Saturday 11 December. There are also another 96 deaths. 565,077 swabs performed in 24 hours, for a positivity rate of 3.7%. There are 76 admissions to intensive care in the last 24 hours which bring the total number of patients in intensive care to 818. Net of discharged, there are two more hospitalized than yesterday. There is also an increase in hospitalized patients with symptoms that are 56 more and bring the total of patients to 6,539. Read also Here are the data region by region: EMILIA ROMAGNA – There are 1,733 new coronavirus infections in Emilia Romagna according to today’s bulletin, 11 December. Also recorded 7 other deaths. Since the start of the outbreak, there have been 472,613 positive cases in the region. 34,660 the total number of swabs performed in the last 24 hours. The percentage of new positives on the number of swabs made since yesterday is 5%. Meanwhile, the anti-Covid vaccination campaign continues, extended to all citizens over 12 years of age. At 2 pm a total of 7,739,089 doses were administered; out of the total, 3,574,970 people have completed the vaccination cycle. The third doses are 783,613. ABRUZZO – There are 362 coronavirus infections in Abruzzo today, 11 December 2021, according to numbers and covid data from the region’s bulletin. Recorded 2 deaths. In detail, the new positives (aged between 1 and 90 years) were detected on 5,193 molecular swabs and 8,778 antigenic tests. The other numbers: +103 recovered, 5433 currently positive (+257), 114 hospitalized in the medical area (-5), 13 in intensive care (+2), 5,306 in home isolation (+260). The new positives are resident in the province of L’Aquila (37), Chieti (154), Pescara (68), Teramo (102), under investigation (1) .VENETO – There are 4,062 coronavirus infections in Veneto today, 11 December 2021 , according to numbers and data from the covid bulletin. Recorded another 8 deaths. New cases were identified on 92,052 swabs (25,678 molecular and 66,374 rapid). The positivity rate is 4.4%. Covid patients hospitalized are over 1000. In the non-critical area 889 people (+37) are hospitalized, 134 (+4) in therapy. BASILICATA – There are 85 coronavirus infections in Basilicata today, 11 December 2021, according to numbers and covid data from the regional bulletin. There are no deaths. The new cases (80 concern residents) were identified out of a total of 1,060 molecular swabs. Of the new cases, 31 are in Matera. The Lucanians recovered or negativized are 79. The hospitalized in the hospitals of Potenza and Matera are 21 (+1) of which 1 in intensive care. Overall, the current positives residing in Basilicata are 1,315 (+1).
