Accelerate on digital, experts in comparison in Rome

‘Accelerating digital health’. A need on which Italian and international experts will meet in Rome on Thursday 11 November from 10.15 at the Cardinal Gallery. The event is organized by Dedalus, a group active in the field of clinical-health information systems in support of professionals and structures, in partnership with The G20 Health & Development Partnership (G20Hdp), an advocacy organization that aims to ensure that the countries of G20 coordinate their health innovation strategies to address the growing burden of communicable and noncommunicable diseases globally, to promote the realization of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Two sessions are scheduled, a note reports. At the first, on ‘The digitalization of the health system, data management and interoperability’, Domenico Mantoan, general manager of Agenas, will speak; Alessio D’Amato, councilor for health and socio-health integration of the Lazio Region; Angela Ianaro, Carmera Social Affairs Commission and Parliamentary Innovation Intergroup; Michael Beyer, CEO and medical director of Augusta University Hospital; Chris Johnson, Ccio Papworth Trust of Cambridge; Francesca Viviani, Digital Health Expert Gartner; Ioana-Maria Gligor, Head of the European Reference Networks and Digital Health Unit at the European Commission, Directorate-General for Health and Food Safety; Stefano Lorusso, general director of the Mission Unit for the implementation of the NRP as regards the Health mission. The second session, ‘The One Health initiative and sustainability in the health system’, will be attended by Walter Ricciardi, president of the World Federation of Public Health Associations; Mario Plebani, president of the European Federation of Laboratory Medicine; Nicoletta Luppi, of the Farmindustria council; Francesca De Maio, head of the Environmental Sustainability and Health Department of Ispra; Alan Donnelly, owner of G20Hdp. The CEO of Dedalus, Andrea Fiumicelli, and the president and founder, Giorgio Moretti, did the honors.
