Cordani (Samsung): “Inclusiveness and innovation at the base of The Art Room”

Samsung opens its doors to artists and presents the project “The Art Room by Samsung”, created in collaboration with the internationally renowned art curator Caroline Corbetta. The goal is to combine technology and art to make the works accessible to an ever wider audience. “A project that starts from the union of innovation and art – explains Francesco Cordani, Head of MarCom of Samsung Electronics Italia – comes at a time when the use of art is more innovative given the post Covid era. There are ingredients fundamental that made all this possible. An exceptional curator, Caroline Corbetta, who followed, managed and directed the project by selecting, together with Samsung, six young artists. They gave vent to the artistic imagination by creating six exclusive works thanks to Samsung products: Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G, Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 Plus, S Pen and The Frame, our TV specially created to see not only content but also creative paintings and illustrations “. A project that confirms and reinforces Samsung’s commitment to support the dissemination of art to the general public through its technological ecosystem. “Our goal was to generate an innovative democratization of art – continues Cor dani – because for Samsung to innovate at 360 degrees also means having new artistic interpretations where not simply a physical project becomes digital. In this precise case, in fact, an artistic work is born on the digital and remains usable only on the digital. There are two keywords: inclusiveness and innovation “.
