The newspaper La Ragione has made available five scholarships of 8 thousand euros each for particularly deserving IULM students, passionate about journalism, art and communication. The winners are Giulia Casari, Simone Chiarelli, Martina Patriarca, Veronica Serafini and Romina Ventura, all students of the first year of a master’s degree at the IULM University in the academic year 2021/2022. The award ceremony for the merit scholarships took place yesterday. A commission made up of members of the university and of the newspaper, including the rector of IULM, Professor Gianni Canova, and the director of La Ragione, Fulvio Giuliani, decreed the recipients of the scholarships. Among the university students who during the last academic year attended the first year of the university’s master’s degree, three were selected for each, based on the average of the exams and the evaluation of an article on a topic chosen by the newspaper La Ragione and from the Iulm University. The 15 finalists thus selected were finally evaluated on the basis of the average of the exams taken, the university credits achieved and the journalistic quality of the piece. The writings of the 15 finalists will be published in the next few days in the online edition of La Ragione. The articles of the five scholarship winners will also be published in the print edition.
