From Bellocchio to Luchetti, autumn on the set in Rome

The film is an IBCmovie and Kavac Film production with Rai Cinema with the support of the Emilia Romagna Region and the support of its Film Commission, in co-production with Ad Vitam Production (France) and Match Factory Productions (Germany) and is produced by Beppe Caschetto and Simone Gattoni. The screenplay of ‘The Conversion of Edgardo Mortara’ was written by the same Bellocchio and Susanna Nicchiarelli with the collaboration of Edoardo Albinati, Daniela Ceselli and the historical consultancy of Pina Totaro. The film is also shot in various locations in Emilia Romagna and in Paris. The set of Giacomo Campiotti’s ‘La Lunga Notte’ has just opened in Rome, a TV movie that will tell on the small screen the last months before the final fall of fascism. The protagonists of the feature film produced by Indiana Production are Elio Germano, Vittoria Puccini, Isabella Ferrari and Federica Rosellini. Director of photography is Ivan Casalgrandi. For Luchetti it is the third film adaptation of a book by Domenico Starnone after ‘La scuola’ and ‘Lacci’. ‘Confidenza’, released by Einaudi in 2019, is “an excavation work on the ambivalence of people and relationships”. The set of ‘The voice you have inside’ by Eros Puglielli, the television series that will be broadcast on Canale 5 and starring Massimo Ranieri for the first time engaged on a Mediaset television project, with Maria Pia Calzone, has also been prepared.
