Mostra Venezia, ‘hot’ and tricolor: the triumphal red carpet of Chalamet on the Lido

Bright red jumpsuit with a ‘hot’ back left totally uncovered, sunglasses, ruffled curls, a light-hearted look and, in front of it, an audience crowded as it hasn’t been seen for years. Timothée Chalamet’s red carpet brought adrenaline to the Venice Film Festival: acclaimed as the stars of the past, the French actor arrives on the red carpet, ‘escapes’ by surprise from the fans at the entrance, returns in front of the flashes, takes off and puts his glasses back on, smiles, winks, and the Lido ignites. With the arrival on the red carpet of Taylor Russell McKenzie, the co-star of ‘Bones and All’, the first Italian film in Competition at the Venice Film Festival directed by Luca Guadagnino, it becomes clear that the red of the actor’s look is part of a virtual ‘Italian flag: the Canadian actress is in fact dressed in white and green, and the embrace between the two reassembles the banner. On the red carpet also the director Guadagnino and the rest of the cast of the film, a story of love and cannibalism, horror and romantic.
