Digital Culture – In Puglia, prestigious recognition for the President of “Pagine Si! Spa ”Sauro Pellerucci

Lecce, 8 June 2022 – The award ceremony took place as part of the international conference on the theme “Digital cultures, intersections with philosophy, arts and media” The university system in Puglia is perfectly aware of the role that digital culture can play in a process of growth of the territory. Confirmation of this is the conferral of the “Digital Culture” award that the Interdepartmental Research Center in Digital Humanities ”of the University of Salento wanted to award to the President of the Board of Directors of“ Pagine Si! SpA ”Sauro Pellerucci. He is one of the leading figures in the innovation processes of our country and it is no coincidence that PagineSi! is one of the main Italian operators in the digital communication sector, with a particular eye on the growth of the system of small and medium-sized enterprises and the public administration. The prize was awarded in Lecce, in the Palmieri Convitto Theater, by the Councilor for Economic Development and Innovation of the Puglia Region Alessandro Delli Noci. “Innovation, especially in the digital field – said Delli Noci – has always been in my DNA. This is why these initiatives taken by the University of Salento are particularly useful because they allow us to analyze the evolutions that have been made and the changes that they entail in our life. In this context – concluded the Regional Councilor – speaking of good examples such as that of President Pellerucci can be a further source of collective inspiration on the roads to be taken. “President Pellerucci is particularly moved by the recognition obtained:” When digital culture accompanies the responsibility and sustainability of those who work to make their land grow – he said – means that we have hit the target.
