The Jury Prize of the 75th Cannes Film Festival was won ex aequo by ‘The eight mountains’ by Charlotte Vandermeersch and Felix van Groeningen and ‘Edo’ by Jerzy Skolimowski. The Award for Best Female Performance went to Zar Amir Ebrahimi (Ali Abbasi’s ‘Les nuits de Mashhad’), while the Best Actor Award went to Song Kang-Ho for Kore-Eda Hirokazu’s ‘Broker’. Best Screenplay Award went to Tarik Saleh’s ‘Boy from Heaven’, while Best First Feature Award went to Gina Gammel and Riley Keough’s ‘War Pony’ featured in the official selection of ‘A Certain regard’. Special mention to ‘Plan 75’ by Hayakawa Chie. Special Award to ‘Tori and Lokita’ by the brothers Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne, Director’s Award to Park Chan-Wook for the film ‘Decision to Leave’.
