Just a few weeks before the departure of Francesco de Gregori and Antonello Venditti who this summer will be the protagonists of a long tour in the most important Italian locations and which will be inaugurated on June 18 at the Olympic Stadium in Rome. Waiting for the Olimpico concert, from tomorrow, Wednesday 25 May, the series ‘Venditti & De Gregori – carpenters & philosophers’ will be available in binge on the discovery streaming platform, the filmed story of the rehearsals that have seen the two Roman songwriters engaged before departure of the tour. Directed by Stefano Pistolini, the series in 6 episodes is a new project, created in collaboration with Caravan, Friends & Partners and New Sound City, which for the first time opens to the public the musical yard of the two artists struggling with the arrangements of their most popular songs. famous, and reveals their characters, their different personalities and their edges in a long history of friendship and musical complicity. After the concert at the Olimpico, new Roman appointments are added to the “Venditti & De Gregori” tour by popular demand: ‘1 and 2 September at the Cavea – Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome.
