The XXXIV edition of the Turin International Book Fair starts. During the opening day Poliziamoderna will take care of the presentations of two of the authors in uniform who will present the results of their work for the first two days of the festival. In the afternoon it will be the turn of The Last Descendant of the Lily by Angela Gravina, musician of the State Police Band, who with this exciting fantasy tells, through a romantic love story between two young people, the rebellion against a destiny of death and hate through a challenge to the world, in the name of the power of love. This will be followed by the presentation of Joy forever – Diary of a police commissioner, where Salvatore Blasco, manager of the Western Emilia Romagna Crime Prevention Department tells an autobiographical story, the story of the encounter with an African underage girl who arrived in Italy on a rubber dinghy that she will find herself entangled in the meshes of Nigerian organized crime and which she will be able to save also through the collaboration of a network of people. Finally, at the literary café still inside the Oval pavilion, at 6.15 pm, Poliziamoderna, in collaboration with the Rubbettino publishing house, will participate in the dialogue with Nicola Longo, a retired policeman, author of the autobiographical novel Macaone, the story of an agent undercover, on a journey through time that crosses Italy in one of the most complex periods in the history of the country.
