‘Made in Sud’, Clementino and Boccia for light shows in times of anguish

It will be a program characterized by lightness and lightheartedness, “an antidote to the anguish that is gripping us after 50 days of war”. Thus the director of Rai2 Massimo Lavatore, during the press conference live from the Rai TV Production Center in Naples, presents the tenth edition of ‘Made in the south’, the lucky comedy show that returns live from the Rai Auditorium in Naples for eight appointments in prime time starting from 18 April with two important news: the new couple of conductors, Lorella Boccia and Clementino. Eight prime time episodes characterized by a rhythmic and cheerful formula made up of comedy, laughter, music and fun that will see highly confirmed comedians alternating on stage such as the Arteteca, Simone Schettino, Mino Abbacuccio, Ciro Giustiniani, Nello Iorio, Mariano Bruno, Enzo and Sal , Matranga and Minafò and the Guidonia twins, winners of the latest edition of ‘Tale e Quali Show’. The trio will enrich the episodes with surprising musical gags. Much loved characters such as Alessandro Bolide and Pasquale Palma will return and new comedians will join the team to be discovered together, episode after episode. Over 45 artists who will take turns on stage during the edition. Among the many novelties also the Roman cyclone Maurizio Battista and the presence in the cast, for musical moments, of the Neapolitan rapper Livio Cori who will duet with Mavi during the episodes. In the first episode, the extraordinary participation of Maurizio Casagrande is foreseen. Enthusiastic about the start of the tenth edition of the program, the director of Rai2, who on the new couple of conductors at the helm of ‘Made in Sud’ says: “ We have chosen a couple of well-known and talented young artists and above all already very close to each other. The added value is also that of working in this magnificent city full of warmth (Naples, ed) – continues Lavatore – and from which Rai2 has always obtained extraordinary results and which has a very well managed production center. It was challenging to achieve the goals I had set for myself in life. I am very excited – she admits – ten years ago I met Nando Mormone (author and creator of ‘Made i Sud’, ed) and we did a sit-com together, also on Rai2, which was called ‘Fatti Unici’. The scenography by Cappellini and Licheri is inspired by the white cities of the South and recalls a square full of light and joy. The color will be given by the interiors of the houses, by the colored wallpapers that will be seen from the windows and balconies.
