Fabrizio Corona will be on trial for defamation for having defined, during an interview aired in November 2020, Fedez and Chiara Ferragni two ‘idiots’, also claiming that the couple had planned the sex of their daughter ‘for editorial purposes’. This is what was decided by the judge for the preliminary investigations Chiara Cipolla, who accepted the opposition of the couple’s lawyers, Gabriele Minniti and Andrea Pietrolucci, ordering the prosecutor to formulate the indictment for the former king of paparazzi who is currently under house arrest. In fact, the prosecutor had asked for the filing of the lawsuit, as explained by Ivano Chiesa, the lawyer of Corona to the Adnkronos: ” The prosecution had requested the filing but the judge did not accept it. When I read the indictment I will understand better. From what I understand – explains Corona’s lawyer – Fedez and Ferragni were offended by an epithet that Fabrizio used against them. What I have to say is that when Selvaggia Lucarelli called Fabrizio a ‘jerk’, however, they filed away. When you work in a certain world – continues Chiesa – it may be that one exaggerates in terms of tone. It is evident that this judge does not think so. Okay, we’ll go through the trial and see who wins. Between ‘jerk’ and ‘stupid’ I think ‘jerk’ is worse – he concludes ironically – but obviously there are those who do not think so ”.
